In 2010, while doing The Thunder Rolls AR, we were biking along a gravel road, around 1 in the afternoon, in broad daylight. Pretty soon, Leisha hollers to Dave, "Was that a rooster?" He says, "Yup, that rooster is kinda late." Leisha says, "It's a tardy rooster." We weren't new to racing, but had been looking for THE NAME for our team. We've been racing as The Tardy Rooster ever since.
